Why Use Our .NET Control Flow Obfuscator?

Switch-Based Dispatcher Flattening

Transforms structured C# control flow (if/else, for, while, foreach, do-while, switch) into a flat switch-based dispatcher pattern. Instead of clean nested blocks, the obfuscated code uses a state variable with while(true) + switch(state) + continue to dispatch execution, making the control flow graph significantly harder to analyze statically.

Structure-Aware C# Detection

Automatically detects 6 C# control flow constructs: if/else chains, for loops, while loops, do-while loops, foreach loops, and switch/case statements. Each structure is identified with source line numbers and snippets, giving you full visibility into what will be transformed before obfuscation is applied.

Configurable Obfuscation Depth

Choose from 3 obfuscation depth levels: Basic (flatten main structures), Standard (full switch-dispatcher with state variables), and Deep (nested dispatchers with label indirection). Select label styles - Numeric (block_0), Alpha (lbl_a), or Hex (loc_0001) - and choose which structures to flatten independently.

100% Browser-Local & Private

All .NET control flow obfuscation runs entirely in your browser. Your C# source code and the obfuscated output never leave your device. No server uploads, no API calls, no data storage, and no tracking. Perfect for protecting proprietary C# code without exposing it to third parties.

Common Use Cases for Our .NET Control Flow Obfuscator

Commercial .NET Application Protection

Protect commercial C# applications and libraries from reverse engineering. Control flow flattening makes it significantly harder for attackers to understand the logic of your application. Combined with other obfuscation techniques (renaming, string encryption), it provides a strong defense against unauthorized analysis and tampering.

Unity Game Script Protection

Unity games often use C# scripts that can be easily decompiled with tools like ILSpy or dnSpy. Obfuscate Unity MonoBehaviour scripts, game logic, and proprietary algorithms with control flow flattening to deter cheat developers and protect your game's intellectual property from easy analysis.

License & DRM Logic Protection

License validation, trial period enforcement, and digital rights management (DRM) code are prime targets for crackers. Control flow obfuscation makes it much harder to bypass license checks by flattening the verification logic into a dispatcher, preventing simple patching of if/else conditions.

Proprietary Algorithm Hiding

Protect trade secret algorithms implemented in C# - financial models, pricing engines, recommendation algorithms, and data processing pipelines. Control flow flattening obscures the algorithmic logic flow, making it difficult for competitors to extract and replicate your proprietary methods from decompiled assemblies.

Educational Tool for Obfuscation Concepts

Learn how control flow flattening works as an obfuscation technique. Compare structured C# code with its flattened dispatcher equivalent side by side. Understand how commercial obfuscators like ConfuserEx, Dotfuscator, and Obfuscar transform code to resist reverse engineering.

Security Research & CTF Challenges

Generate obfuscated .NET code samples for security research, Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, and reverse engineering training. Create progressively harder challenges by increasing the flattening depth and combining with other obfuscation techniques for realistic reverse engineering exercises.

Understanding .NET Control Flow Obfuscation

What is Control Flow Obfuscation?

Control flow obfuscation is a code protection technique that transforms structured control flow constructs (if/else, for, while, foreach, switch) into an unstructured or flattened form that is functionally identical but significantly harder for humans and automated tools to analyze. The most common approach used by commercial .NET obfuscators likeConfuserEx and Dotfuscator is switch-based dispatcher flattening. This converts all control flow into a flat loop with a switch statement and state variable, where each basic block becomes a case in the switch and execution flows between them via state variable updates and continue statements. The result is a single while-true loop containing one large switch that represents the entire function's control flow graph in a flat, hard-to-analyze form.

How Our .NET Control Flow Obfuscator Works

Our obfuscator scans C# source code using pattern matching to identify control flow structures.if/else chains are detected by pattern-matching the if keyword and capturing the condition expression and body blocks. Each if is converted to a dispatcher case with state transitions. Loops (for, while, foreach, do-while) are detected and wrapped in a dispatcher pattern with loop state management. Switch statementsare identified and marked for flattening. The tool applies transformations in order: if/else flattening first, then loops, then switch statements. Each transformation preserves the original code's logic while restructuring its control flow into the flattened dispatcher form. Configurable options let you control the depth of flattening and the label style used for block identifiers. All processing is done client-side. No code is uploaded to any server.

Limitations & Considerations

This tool has important limitations. It does not produce fully obfuscated assemblies- it transforms C# source code at the text level. Professional obfuscators like ConfuserEx operate at the IL (Intermediate Language) level after compilation, enabling more advanced transforms.Try/catch/finally blocks are not currently flattened due to their complexity with exception handling semantics. Nested lambda expressions and LINQ queries may not be fully flattened. The obfuscated output should be tested thoroughly before production use to ensure the dispatcher pattern does not introduce performance regressions. Always verify that the obfuscated code compiles and behaves identically to the original.

Privacy & Security

This tool runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. The C# source code you paste, all detected control flow structures, and the obfuscated output are never uploaded to any server, stored in any database, or transmitted over the network. All parsing, structure detection, and transformation execute locally on your device. There are no API calls, analytics tracking, cookies, or data collection of any kind. This makes it completely safe for obfuscating proprietary C# code, commercial applications, trade secret algorithms, or sensitive business logic without exposing it to third parties.
