Dart String Obfuscator
Obfuscate Dart string literals using 6 different techniques: hex escape sequences, String.fromCharCodes with code point arrays, Base64 decoding with dart:convert, XOR-encrypted byte arrays with runtime decryption, split string concatenation, and StringBuffer with writeCharCode calls. Each method generates valid Dart code that produces the original string at runtime. Compare all methods side by side, filter by technique, and copy the generated code - all free, private, and no signup required.

Features
6 Obfuscation Methods
Choose from Hex Escapes, String.fromCharCodes, Base64 Decoding, XOR Encryption, Split Concatenation, and StringBuffer + writeCharCode. Each generates valid Dart code.
Side-by-Side Comparison
View all 6 methods simultaneously to compare code size, readability, and obfuscation strength. Filter to focus on a single method when you find one that fits.
Size Impact Analysis
Each method shows character count and size increase from the original string, helping you balance obfuscation strength against code size.
Flutter-Ready Examples
Quickly test with realistic Dart/Flutter strings: Firebase keys, API endpoints, GraphQL queries, and common phrases. All methods work in Flutter and Dart CLI apps.
Use Cases
Flutter API Keys & Secrets
Hide Firebase API keys, Google Services credentials, Stripe publishable keys, and other secrets embedded in Flutter apps to prevent easy extraction from decompiled Dart code.
Anti-Reversing Protection
Make reverse engineering of Flutter apps significantly harder by hiding string constants that reveal app logic, business rules, and internal behavior patterns from Dart snapshots.
REST API & GraphQL Endpoints
Disguise internal API endpoints, GraphQL query strings, webhook URLs, and service addresses in your Dart code to prevent automated scraping and targeted attacks.
Firebase & Backend Configuration
Protect Firebase project IDs, database URLs, storage buckets, and other configuration strings that would reveal your backend infrastructure if extracted from a decompiled app.
License Key Verification
Obfuscate license validation strings, product key patterns, and verification URLs in commercial Flutter applications to deter casual cracking.
Proprietary Business Logic
Safeguard proprietary algorithms by obfuscating the string literals that reveal calculation steps, regex patterns, and internal process names in your Dart source code.
About Dart String Obfuscation
What Is String Obfuscation?
String obfuscation is the practice of transforming readable string literals in source code into equivalent representations that are hard for humans and automated tools to understand. Instead of writing 'Hello', you might write String.fromCharCodes([72, 101, 108, 108, 111])or String.fromCharCodes(base64.decode('SGVsbG8=')). Both produce the same string at runtime but look completely different in your source code.
How the Obfuscation Works
The Dart String Obfuscator applies six distinct transformation techniques.Hex escapes convert each character to its hex byte value.String.fromCharCodes represents each character as a code point integer.Base64 decoding wraps the encoded string in base64.decode() from dart:convert.XOR encryption XORs each byte with a random key and generates decryption code.Split concatenation breaks the string into hex-encoded pieces joined with +.StringBuffer + writeCharCode builds the string character by character. Each technique uses randomization to produce different output on every generation.
Effectiveness in Code Protection
String obfuscation is particularly important for Flutter and Dart applications because Dart code can be reverse-engineered from AOT-compiled snapshots and kernel files. While a determined reverser can run the obfuscated code to recover original strings, obfuscated strings make automated scanning and pattern matching significantly harder. For best results, combine string obfuscation with Dart's built-in --obfuscate flag, which renames symbols, and use split concatenation for critical strings that should not appear in full anywhere.
Privacy & Security
This tool runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your input strings and the generated obfuscated outputs never leave your device. There are no API calls, no server-side processing, no data storage, and no tracking. The obfuscation engine uses JavaScript's built-in string and number methods for all transformations - everything is local and private.
