Why Use the Mind Map Builder?

Brainstorm, organise, and export your ideas - all in your browser with no signup required.

Visual Tree Structure

Build mind maps with an interactive tree layout. Add unlimited branching subtopics, collapse/expand branches, and navigate your ideas with a clear hierarchical view. The tree grows as your ideas grow.

Colour-Coded Connections

Assign colours to any node from 10 distinct colours. Use colour to group related topics, indicate priority, or create visual hierarchy. Each branch can have its own colour scheme for instant recognition.

Notes on Every Node

Attach detailed notes to any node in your mind map. Perfect for capturing ideas, definitions, links, or action items without cluttering the tree view. Notes appear as previews under node labels.

Export as Markdown or PNG

Copy your mind map as a clean Markdown outline for use in documentation, Notion, or README files. Take a screenshot to save as PNG for presentations or sharing. No account needed.

Common Mind Map Scenarios

From brainstorming to project planning - visualise your ideas for any purpose.

Brainstorming Sessions

Start with a central idea and branch out with related concepts. Use colour-coded nodes to group themes, add notes for details, and collapse branches to focus on specific areas. Perfect for solo or team brainstorming.

Study & Revision

Organise study topics into visual mind maps for effective revision. Break complex subjects into manageable subtopics, add key facts as notes, and export as Markdown for flashcard creation or study guides.

Project Planning

Map out project requirements, milestones, and deliverables. Use branches for different workstreams, colour-code by priority or owner, and attach notes with deadlines or dependencies.

Business Strategy

Visualise business strategies, competitive analysis, or go-to-market plans. Create branches for SWOT analysis, target markets, or action items. Export as Markdown for strategy documents.

Team Workshops

Facilitate brainstorming workshops with remote or in-person teams. Share your screen to build the map collaboratively. Export the final map as Markdown to share with stakeholders after the session.

Content & Writing

Outline articles, books, or presentations with a mind map. Structure your content hierarchy, add notes for key points per section, and export as a Markdown outline ready for your editor.
