- Completely Local Processing: The Web Speech API runs entirely in your browser. When you click the speaker button, your browser's built-in speech synthesizer generates the audio - no data is sent to any server, no audio is recorded or stored.
- Browser Support: Speech synthesis is supported in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari (desktop and mobile). If your browser doesn't support it, the tool gracefully falls back to showing the word visually.
- Natural Pronunciation: The synthesizer uses your device's default voice at a slower rate (0.75x) for clear, easy-to-understand pronunciation suitable for learners of all ages.
