Watermark Customisation Options
- Text & Font Size: Enter any watermark text and set font size from 6 to 300 pt. The tool uses Helvetica Bold for clean, readable stamping at all sizes. Typical document watermarks use 36-72 pt.
- Color & Opacity: Choose from 7 color presets (light gray to black, red, blue, green, orange) or pick any custom hex color with the color picker. Opacity is adjustable from 5% (very faint, behind content) to 100% (fully solid, covering content).
- Position:Place the watermark at center (automatically applied at 45° diagonal), top-left, top-center, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-center, or bottom-right - coordinates are calculated relative to each page's actual dimensions, so it works correctly on any page size (A4, Letter, etc.).
- Page Scope: Apply the watermark to all pages, first page only, last page only, odd-numbered pages, or even-numbered pages - useful for double-sided printed documents where you only want the front or back side stamped.
Privacy, Security & Limitations
All bulk PDF watermarking runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib - your files are never uploaded to any server and never leave your device. This tool adds text watermarks to digital PDFs; it cannot add watermarks to password-protected or encrypted PDFs (these will show a "Failed" status in the queue). The watermark is added as a new layer on top of existing content - it does not remove or modify original text, images, or form fields.
